What this site is

Texas Claim Helper is a private service that helps Texas seniors and their families find and apply for government benefit programs. We are not a law firm, and nothing on this site is legal advice.

We are not a government agency

Texas Claim Helper is not part of, endorsed by, or affiliated with Texas Health and Human Services, the Social Security Administration, Medicare, the Department of Veterans Affairs, or any other government agency.

No guarantee of approval

We help you apply, but we cannot guarantee that you will be approved for any program. Eligibility is determined by the agency that runs each program, not by us. The estimates shown by our benefits calculator are for informational purposes only.

Every program is free to apply for on your own

Every government program mentioned on this site is free to apply for directly. You can get free application help from 2-1-1 Texas (dial 211), your local Area Agency on Aging (1-800-252-9240), or, for VA benefits, the Texas Veterans Commission or a county Veterans Service Officer.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information when working with us. We rely on what you tell us to screen for benefits and help complete applications.
