About Texas Claim Helper
Texas Claim Helper is a private service run by [OWNER NAME] in Austin, Texas. We help seniors 60 and older — and the families who look after them — find and apply for government benefits they may not know about.
Why this exists
Texas has dozens of benefit programs for seniors: Medicare savings, SNAP food assistance, energy bill help, SSI, property tax exemptions, VA pensions, and more. They're run by different agencies, each with its own application, its own rules, and its own paperwork. Most people don't know what's available, and the ones who do often get overwhelmed by the process.
We started Texas Claim Helper because nobody should miss out on help they've earned just because the system is hard to navigate.
What we do
We screen you (or your parent) against every major program, identify what you likely qualify for, and help you through the applications — by phone, in plain language, at your pace. For VA benefits, we connect you with a free accredited helper through the Texas Veterans Commission or a county Veterans Service Officer.
We are not a government agency
Texas Claim Helper is not affiliated with Texas Health and Human Services, Social Security, Medicare, or the VA. Every program we discuss is free to apply for on your own. Free help is also available from 2-1-1 Texas (dial 211) or your local Area Agency on Aging (1-800-252-9240).
